TN and tiny tooshie

Well, due to the weather we have to stay in today. It has been pouring rain since 6am. He loves it when his daddy comes home for lunch. Thank you for letting us be a part of the WW Fluff Adventure. Zachary got to wear his rocket ship legg'ns with his diaper. How appropriate! I was hoping he would be walking by now so hecould really show off his diaper, but I will take pulling up anytime.

Hope that helps. You can get different fragrances...although I am surprised that she could smell anything b/c the smell is usually gone after the wash.My laundry room smells GREAT though. I like a nice smelling laundry room.Maybe the smell came through b/c it was in a package or it could be leftover from the mama before me b/c I used the same bag the diaper came in.You might ask the mama before me what she uses too. :-) Let me know. Iwould be interested in knowing.

Living it up in Louisiana

Cayden and I had lots of fun while the diaper was with us! We went to The Naval Air Station in Belle Chasse, LA, where daddy works on helicopters. Cayden wore the diaper the whole time, but we weren't allowed to take any pictures :( On the way home though, I decided to take the ferry back across the Mississippi River. We had to stay in the truck, but I got a few photos of the river in the background. This was really an awesome experience and we are SO happy we got a chance with the diaper!

* How can we keep the diaper moving quicker? It seems to get stuck in for more than a week. The participants aren't replying to emails to either confirm or deny they even got it.

I'm going to be emailing you the week before it is set to arrive to confirm that you would still like to participate. If you don't reply I'm going to skip you and move on?

So until we get a reply from New Braunfels, TX please send any of your cloth questions and we'll get some answers.

Bum on Boston

Yes, the bum was on Boston while he and his mama, Aubrea, spent some time with the World Wide Fluff.

When the diaper arrived in Pampa, TX we had some unexpected events going on so we didn't get to have as much fun as originally planned. We finally got to enjoy the fluff and get some shots in while Boston, 18 1/2 months, was playing around in the living room before bath and bed time. Here he is with his favorite toy...his lawn mower.

The Diaper goes to Derby, KS

Shannon & Reagan got the Diaper. Here's their Halloween Adventures.

Reagan, 13 months, loves playing outside in her bare feet. I think she likes how the cool grass feels on her tiny toes! It always makes her happy. On Saturday night, I thought it would be fun to let her play with her little witch hat and broom while running around outdoors. We have our pumpkins and Mr. Bones displayed, and Reagan has been so excited about the pumpkins ever since we picked them at the pumpkin patch! I bet she'll have a ball on Halloween night!

Glad you enjoyed the time with the World Wide Fluff.

Sitting Pretty in Kansas

Here's the latest from Tanner & Sloan in Kansas.

The weather was cold and rainy the week that we received the diaper, but the sun finally came out on Day 3! We celebrated the beautiful sunshine with Sloane's first trip to a pumpkin patch, and then a visit to our favorite local health food store, Food for Thought, for some yummy, all-natural goodness.

Fluff goes to Colorado!

The World Wide Fluffy Bum travelled to Colorado Springs, CO to visit with Aekley and Stephanie. Here's tidbit and pictures from their adventures.

We were so happy to receive the World Wide Fluffy Bum cover on Thursday, October 9th! (1st photo)

Aekley loves the outdoors, so we decided to take him to the park today to model the cover. It was a wonderful fall day. To show off the cover and our beautiful state, we took these photos of Aekley with Pikes Peak in the background. (2nd and 3rd photos)

Why did you choose cloth?

Hi Everyone,
The World Wide Fluff is currently on a mail truck making its way through Colorado. While we wait for the delivery, I thought I'd ask another cloth question.

Besides saving the world, one landfill at a time, what made you choose cloth? Why did you choose the style of diaper that you did?

We chose cloth because of the cost savings. Big difference in our small budget. Plus, we got a great stash for $100 and thought it couldn't hurt to try out pockets & prefolds!

Crawling in Cloth

Hi Mamas,
This is a somewhat selfish post. I'm looking for a new AIO/Fitted/Pocket in large sizes for Baby B. (I'm spoiled as the stash I bought before he was born had us set from newborn through medium.) He's getting close to crawling and I'm looking to invest in some additions for our stash. We've got some bG's and prefolds that I use but I'd like another 1/2 dozen of something that will let him wiggle without leaking.

What's your best diaper for crawling?

Waiting and the wash...

While we wait for the diaper to arrive at the next destination, let's talk cloth.

I figure we'll start on some mellow and not controversial.

What's your wash method? We're using bG's and prefolds. (grew out of our HH and await the budget go ahead before we try some GAD's) We toss everything into the wash (hot/cold) with a Planet detergent. No pre-rinse...but Baby B is just now starting solids, so I think the pre-rinse is in order shortly. Then we line dry (as much as we can with the rainy season approaching) with a light tumble dry (10 minutes) to fluff if needed.

Anyone tried the liners?

Arizona Update

Here's the adventures the World Wide Fluffy Bum had while in Arizona, courtesy of Stephanie.

We had lots of fun showing off the diaper. Too bad our camera decided not to work and can not retrieve the pictures of it. We had it on for brother's T-ball practice and took lots of pics crawling. We also took pics standing on our lil tykes slide and standing in all the diapers in the store. It was lots of fun. Now if we can get the camera to work, we'd love to share our smiles.

Last Day in California

Bam bam and I had fun with the fluffy bum today! Here it is sitting with our stash (please excuse the stained instert below!!) He wore it over a tiny tush one size (which you can see didn't quite fit over completely).





But, first we played with trains! Yeah for GeoTrax!








Then after covering the fluffy bootie we went and fed the ducks but they got a little too close and had to be taught their manners!!













We then headed off to the park where Bam bam played on the stucture but refused to go down the slide...... even for Daddy!!!!









We finished off our 'wear' of the fluffy bum with a nap! Thanks for letting us share in the fun!!

Day 2 of the World Wide Fluffy Bum

Today was a big day for the diaper. Not only did it have to hold up to a toddler, but it had to hold up to a park playdate. We went with a 'Under the Nile' fitted underneath the WWFluffy Bum.

We headed off to a park playdate, this time to a local park with a pint sized train and kid carousel, a real jet for them to climb all over and loads of playgrounds. I love the way my son likes to strut in the house in just his diapers but as soon as we are packing up to leave, he HAS to wear something over them. 'Butt, Mama....Don't look my butt.' Here are some of our pics, before, during and after the diaper. I just love the look of cloth diapers on a clothesline.

Allrighty, then! Our days with the diaper are done! I'm off to the laminators for the final step of the directions. Then to the post office to send it to the next mama! In the event that the popular chain copy store has laminating issues, I'll keep you guys posted.

Baby B's Day Out in the Diaper

Yesterday was Baby B's turn to wear the diaper to his 'playgroup'. Okay do 4month olds really play at the playground? No. But it was a great chance to take the diaper out and get some pics.

We are wearing a prefold under the World Wide Wrap and we had to wear pants over it because it was cool in the morning when we left. Here's the diaper all super cute before we got dressed.




We didn't do a whole lot besides chat and eat snacks while the toddlers tore up the playground. But Baby B was in the swing at the park for the first time!





We came home and he played in the saucer while I made lunch. Then it was wash time so Big Brother could wear it today.

Morning All,

But let Jill know that we're open to whatever her WAHM friend is willing to do for our cause. I don't have any problems with the moms who donate product/service promoting their biz. I think it's fantastic.!

Okay, here's what I've got on directions so far:

"Congratulations! You're the next recipient of a cloth diaper on its adventure around the world. Although this is an All in One Bum Genius/EcoNappi diaper, for sanitary and longevity purposes please use as a cover only. Hi Mamas,
Here's the blog. It's pretty sparse, but not for long! We'll add tons of pics, links and fun stuff as we go. I'd like to start by asking you all for ideas on what to include with the diaper's package. I was thinking we can set up the map on Blogger to show where the diaper has been, but if you'd like to still include an atlas we can do that too?
